In locomotive and car facilities of railways the big attention is paid to technological processes in repair a rolling stock. The application of modern technologies allows to increase the quality of repair.

One of the examples of high technology is ultrasonic cleaning. Quality of part cleaning determines the term of their service and reliability in large measure.

Lately a level of technical progress has considerably grown including for ultrasonic technologies. Undeniable advantages of ultrasonic cleaning lie in ability to remove pollution from the hard-to-reach places. This effect cannot be reached in any other way.

The modern technical washing equipment raises the quality of cleaning of various important parts (speedometer, sprays, injectors), having the complex form and demanding harmful and inflammable solvents. It allows to remove successfully such pollution as oxide and coke films, oil pollution.

Requirements to safety of manufacture play not last role. Ultrasonic cleaning allows to dispense with inflammable and toxic solvents. Instead of them technical washing liquids which easily decay by biochemical methods are applied. They do not pollute an environment that is very important for ecological cleanliness of manufacture.

The way of pollution removal is based on using of the effects arising in the liquid environment under the action of intensive elastic fluctuations of high frequency. Especially great value have cavitational effects, allowing to clean parts of the complex form, and also blind holes and holes of small diameter.

Manual cleaning and rubbing even for those parts which are difficult or practically impossible to clear in the usual way is completely eliminated.

For cleaning various parts in car sheds we offer complex workplaces UZV-4 and UZV-7. For cleaning large-size parts — ultrasonic tanks UZV-12. For especially large parts it is possible to use immersible modules.

Cleaning of axel box bearings is the important stage of repair of car running gears. Bearings are one of the most important units of wheel pairs, safety of operation of cars depends on their quality. Quality cleaning of parts of bearings increases term of their service and besides raises selectivity of flaw detection.
